4. Current website setup and storage register

The current CommerceGorilla base build includes a consent preference mechanism with Accept all, Reject optional and Manage preferences. Optional analytics and advertising tags must remain disabled until the relevant consent has been granted.

Production rule: before any new analytics, advertising, chat, embedded-media or similar technology is enabled, this register and the consent configuration must be updated to reflect the actual provider, purpose, category and storage/retention information.

5. Your choices

You can accept all optional categories, reject optional categories or manage them separately. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent use of the main website.

6. Changing or withdrawing consent

You can reopen Cookie settings from the website footer at any time. An updated choice applies to future optional processing on that browser.

7. Preference duration

Gorilla stores the consent preference for up to six months. After that period, the preference expires and the website may ask you to make a new choice.

If analytics, advertising, embedded media, chat or other third-party technologies are added, this policy should be updated to identify the relevant providers, purposes and applicable storage information before production use.

9. Meta and Google advertising

If services such as Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Google Ads or similar technologies are activated, browser-based technologies that require consent will be connected to the Marketing category. Server-side integrations will be assessed separately because server-side processing does not automatically remove data-protection obligations.

10. Browser controls

Your browser may allow you to delete or block cookies and local storage. Deleting browser data may also remove your saved consent preference, which can cause the banner to appear again.
